Diorama Time!!!

I know that I haven’t done a craft in a while but it’s harder to come up with craft ideas then it is to come up with ideas for paintings. So, we’re going to do a diorama (yay)!

The materials you will need are:

  • A piece of cardboard
  • Plaster of Paris Cloth
  • Paper clay
  • Glue
  • Rocks and sand (optional)
  • Iceland moss (optional)
  • Paints, palette, and brushes

This is the brand of Plaster of Paris Cloth I used:

First, get your cardboard. Then get your paper clay and split it into about three chunks. Next, make balls out of them and place one ball any where on the card board that looks right to you. Then turn that ball in to a mountain. Get one more ball and do the same. Finally, with the third ball cover the rest of the card board in a thin layer of clay and if you have any paper clay left you can make some little hills all over.

Next, you get your Plaster of Paris Cloth and quickly wet it and apply it before the paper clay dries or the clay will make the edges of the cardboard curl up and ruin it.

Once you have let it dry a little, get your paint brush and paints, because it is time to decorate!!! This is where you can really use your imagination and go crazzzzzzzy!!!!!!

If you have some space that needs some filling in you can make a lake by making three circles out of the Plaster of Paris Cloth and stacking them on top of each other. Then you can paint it epic colors and make a rim out of rocks and make some trees out of Iceland moss (epic stuff! I❤️💜💚💙 epic)!!!

I hope you had an epic time making this craft!
